    You’re advised to observer the gorilla trekking rules, to protect the endangered mountain gorillas in Uganda, the following rules and regulations must be observed: BOOK NOW

    1. Flash photography is not permitted and when taking pictures move slowly and carefully.
    2. Do not surround the gorillas but remain in a tight group.
    3. Do not touch the gorillas, they are wild animals.
    4. A 6 meter (21 feet) distance should try to be observed at all times from the gorillas. The further back you are, the more relaxed the group will be as well
    5. When the Gorillas approach you, move back slowly.
    6. Do not smoke, drink or eat when you are near the gorillas. This could increase the risk of transmission of diseases
    7. No one with a communicable disease such as flu or diarrhea is allowed to visit the gorillas.
    8. The maximum time you can spend with the gorillas is one hour. However, if the gorillas become agitated or nervous, the guide will finish the visit early.
    9. Any an necessary sneeze or cough, turn away from the gorillas and cover your nose and mouth.
    10. After the visit keep your voices down until you are 200 meters away from the gorillas.
    11. No person under 15 years is allowed to track gorillas.
    12. Avoid making loud noise or or unnecessary movements when you’re with the gorillas
